Backdrop

Backdrop CMS is a fork of Drupal 7, created with the purpose of offering a lower barrier entry. Backdrop CMS started its existence as an offshoot or fork of Drupal. Although Backdrop originates from a common codebase with Drupal, its philosophy and organization are distinct. Backdrop practices a policy of focused releases, taking into account the feedback from the community. The overall direction is guided by the Backdrop Project Management Committee (PMC), modeled off of the Apache project. OpenELEC

OpenELEC is an embedded operating system built around XBMC, the open source entertainment media hub. Home Theatre PCs are known to be hard to install and configure and can take a massive amount of time to keep running. OpenELEC, on the other hand, is designed to be as lightweight as possible in terms of size and complexity meaning your HTPC becomes no harder to configure than your satellite box or DVD player. With it's small footprint, OpenELEC is also ideal for small systems based on Atom or Fusion platforms so you won't need a whole computer in your living room!

Replicant is a free and open source operating system based on the Android mobile platform, which aims to replace all proprietary Android components with their free software counterparts.

Xfce is a lightweight desktop environment for UNIX-like operating systems. It aims to be fast and low on system resources, while still being visually appealing and user friendly.

KDE

KDE is an international team co-operating on development and distribution of Free, Open Source Software for desktop and portable computing. Our community has developed a wide variety of applications for communication, work, education and entertainment. We have a strong focus on finding innovative solutions to old and new problems, creating a vibrant, open atmosphere for experimentation.

GNOME

GNOME is a desktop environment and graphical user interface (GUI) that runs on top of a computer operating system. It is composed entirely of free and open source software and is developed by both volunteers and paid contributors, the largest corporate contributor being Red Hat.

Ututo

Ututo is a Linux distribution consisting entirely of free software. The name makes reference to a gecko known by this name from northern Argentina.

Gentoo

Gentoo is a free operating system based on either Linux or FreeBSD that can be automatically optimized and customized for just about any application or need. Extreme configurability, performance and a top-notch user and developer community are all hallmarks of the Gentoo experience.

Claroline

Claroline is an Open Source software to easily deploy a platform for learning and collaboration online. Available in many languages, Claroline can be downloaded free and installed freely. Claroline is based on a flexible educational model that information becomes knowledge through the activities and productions of the learner in a system driven by the motivation and interaction. The wide range of tools made available to the user allows any instructor or student to establish or operate an educational device for learning.

CiviCRM

CiviCRM is a web-based, internationalized suite of computer software for constituency relationship management, that falls under the broad rubric of customer relationship management. It is specifically designed for the needs of non-profit, non-governmental, and advocacy groups, and serves as an association management system. CiviCRM is designed to manage information about an organization's donors, members, event registrants, subscribers, grant application seekers and funders, and case contacts.
