Tizen

Tizen (/ˈtaɪzɛn/) is a Linux-based operating system for devices—including smartphones, tablets, in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) devices, smart TVs, Laptop's and smart cameras. Its licensing model involves software that uses a variety of open source licenses that may be incompatible (see Licensing model, below)—and a proprietary SDK. It aims to offer a consistent user experience across devices.

CyanogenMod

is an open source operating system for smartphones and tablet computers, based on the Android mobile platform. It is developed as free and open source software based on the official releases of Android by Google, with added original and third-party code. CyanogenMod releases are provided on a nightly, milestone, and "stable version" schedule. CyanogenMod offers features and options not found in the official firmware distributed by mobile device vendors.

Aixada

An ecological food consumption cooperative that is driven fully by the users/consumers. The coop has developed a free software tool to manage the product catalogue, ordering, reception and internal distribution process in a self-managed way. This tools is further developed in collaboration with a wider community of coops and collaborative consumption groups.

Sharing Backyards

IMAGINE A WORLD where everyone has access to healthy, local, organic food. The goal of the Sharing Backyards program is to make that a reality by giving anyone who wants to grow food the yard space to do it. Sharing Backyards encourages urban gardening by connecting those who have the space to garden with those who would like to garden but don’t have the yard space. It connects neighbours of all kinds in an atmosphere of trust – doing something the beautifies the homewoner’s yard and provides fresh food. Garden partners share the cost of gardening supplies and the abundance of the crops.

FreedomBox

Freedom Box Project was inspired by Eben Moglen's vision of a small, cheap and simple computer that serves freedom in the home. It is building a Debian based platform for distributed applications. It aims to provide people privacy protection on a cheap plug server so everybody can have privacy and data can't be mined by governments, billionaires, thugs or even gossipy neighbors.
