Arduino boards can be purchased pre-assembled or as do-it-yourself kits. Hardware design information is available for those who would like to assemble an Arduino by hand. It was estimated in mid-2011 that over 300,000 official Arduinos had been commercially produced

Mapping the commons

A research project and a nomadic urban laboratory to explore that complex concept called the urban commons. The project proposes a method where the commons are discussed, defined with parameters and, sometimes, represented in short videos. In addition it creates a networks of people involved on the research about urban commons to organize workshops to mapping commons on main cities around the world.

Agent Exoplanet

Astronomers at Las Cumbres Observatory are investigating exoplanets - planets which orbit stars other than our Sun - and you can too. Joining Agent Exoplanet you will study known exoplanets using images taken by LCOGT’s telescopes. You'll measure the brightness of a star while a planet moves between it and our viewpoint.You can examine as many images, from as many exoplanet transit events, as you like and contribute to understanding the properties of each exoplanet.
